Unter dem Titel „‚Living Archives‘ – Geschichte und Gegenwart intersektional-feministischer Bewegungen in Theorie und Praxis“ möchte die Sektion „Politik und Geschlecht“ in der Deutschen Vereinigung für Politikwissenschaft sich der Bewegungsgeschichte intersektionaler Feminismen in deutschsprachigen Kontexten sowie deren transnationalen Verbindungen widmen. Die Tagung findet in Kooperation mit der Bremer Forschungsverbundplattform „Worlds of Contradiction“ und dem DFG-Graduiertenkolleg „Contradiction Studies“ vom 27-28. Juni in Bremen statt.
Es ist der Sektion „Politik und Geschlecht“ eine besondere Freude, dass sie Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main) und Serpil Unvar (tbc, Bildungsinitiative Ferhat Unvar Hanau) als Keynotespeakerinnen gewinnen konnten. Am zweiten Veranstaltungstag finden außerdem unsere Mitgliederversammlung und ein Vernetzungsbrunch statt, bei dem sich auch interessierte Dritte über die Arbeit der Sektion und Beitrittsmöglichkeiten informieren können.
Die Organisator*innen bitten um die Zusendung von Abstracts (200-300 Wörter auf Deutsch oder Englisch) bis zum 15. März 2024 an PolitikUndGeschlecht@dvpw.de. Bitte in der Betreffzeile „Sektionstagung 2024“ angeben.

As is indicated by the title „‚Living Archives‘ – Past and Present of Intersectional Feminist Movements in Theory and Practice“, the section „Politics and Gender“ would like to focus on the history of intersectional feminist movements in German-speaking contexts as well as their transnational connections. The conference will take place from June 27-28 in Bremen. It is being organized in cooperation with the Bremen Research Network „Worlds of Contradiction“ and the DFG Research Training Group „Contradiction Studies“.
The section „Politics and Gender“ is delighted that Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez (Goethe University Frankfurt/Main) and (tbc) Serpil Unvar (Bildungsinitiative Ferhat Unvar Hanau) will be the keynote speakers. On the second day of the event, the general assembly of the “Politics and Gender” section will host a networking brunch. This is also an opportunity to find out about the section’s work and how to join it.
