Die Hans-Böckler-Stiftung fördert ab 2022 das Promotionskolleg 053 „Intersektionalitätsstudien. Transdisziplinäre und machtkritische Forschungen zu sozialen Ungleichheiten und intersektioneller Solidarität” mit Sitz an der Universität Bayreuth mit einer Laufzeit von zunächst drei Jahren und 12 Promotionsstipendien. Geleitet wird das Kolleg von Prof. Dr. Susan Arndt, Fachbereich Anglistik der Universität Bayreuth; stellvertretende Sprecherin ist Prof. Dr.
Annette Henninger vom Institut für Politikwissenschaft der Philipps-Universität Marburg.
Als Auftaktveranstaltung organisiert das Kolleg vom 10.-12.02.2022 einen Pre-Proposal-Workshop, um Interessierte zu Bewerbungen zu ermutigen. Dort können erste Ideen für Promotionsprojekte vorgestellt werden; zudem bietet der Workshop die Gelegenheit, die potenziellen Betreuer*innen der Promotionsvorhaben kennen zu lernen.

Starting in 2022, the Hans Böckler Foundation will fund the Doctoral College 053 „Intersectionality Studies. Transdisciplinary and power-critical research on social inequalities and intersectional solidarity“ based at the University of Bayreuth with an initial term of three years and 12 doctoral scholarships. The collegium is headed by Prof. Dr. Susan Arndt, Department of English Studies at the University of Bayreuth; deputy spokesperson is Prof. Dr. Annette Henninger from the Institute of Political Science at the Philipps University of Marburg.
To encourage applications for these grants, there will be a pre-proposal workshop on Feb. 10-12, 2022 where applicants can present first ideas for their PhD and can meet the team of researchers who will supervise the PhD projects.
